About Me
Amidst rounds of layoffs, I was recently forced out of my job by my megabucks Fortune 100 corporation. I have endured wave after wave of layoffs for a year and a half now. I have endured their tactics at making people miserable enough, to quit, so that the Corporation would not have to offer a severance package. While all of this was going on, I saw wave after wave of RFP's being approved, so the Corporation could send more computer developer jobs overseas.

Needless to say, I am on your side. I will not accept marketing or advertising money from large Companies that outsource to other countries. I have also owned 2 completely, 100% off the grid solar/wind energy homes. I lived that way for a total of 5 years, and understand the advantages and where we need to work to make alternative energy systems affordable to everyone. I recently purchased a nice little passive solar A frame, on a piece of property with great solar exposure and potential. I will be working to make my home more energy efficient/independent over time.
We need to start looking, now, for heating alternatives. We need to support our local businesses that generate income for our local area, and who employ local people.
I am glad I don't work for that big Corporation any more. I can sleep with myself at night, knowing that I am doing what I can to support NEPA and the United States of America.
